DAY 1 | ULAANBAATAR CITY

Arrive in Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia. Your guide will greet you and transfer you to the hotel. After a short rest, enjoy a city tour including Gandan Monastery, the spiritual center of the city, and Sukhbaatar Square, surrounded by grand monuments and history. In the evening, attend a traditional folk concert followed by a welcome dinner.

DAY 2 | TSAGAAN SUVRAGA (WHITE STUPA)

Continue your journey to the breathtaking Tsagaan Suvarga, a natural limestone masterpiece
sculpted by wind and time. Marvel at the towering cliffs, streaked with colors of white, pink, yellow, and orange. Walk along the ridge for panoramic views and explore the ancient seabed layers exposed by erosion. Sunset here is unforgettable as the cliffs ignite in warm golden tones.

DAY 3 | EAGLE VALLEY/ SOUTH GOBI

After breakfast, drive to Yolyn Am (Eagle Valley), located deep within the Gobi Gurvan Saikhan National Park. The drive offers breathtaking views of rugged mountains and vast desert plains before reaching the cool, shaded canyon a striking contrast to the surrounding arid land. Take a leisurely hike through the narrow gorge, where towering rock walls create a peaceful, almost mystical atmosphere. Depending on the season, you may see a ribbon of ice that remains even in midsummer. Keep an eye out for wildlife such as ibex, pikas, and majestic lammergeiers (bearded vultures) soaring above the cliffs. In the afternoon, enjoy a picnic or quiet rest surrounded by the sounds of nature before returning to your ger camp, where the desert sunset paints the horizon in golden hues. DAY4 | KHONGOR SAND DUNE

After breakfast, drive across the striking desert landscapes toward the Khongor Sand Dunes, Mongolia’s largest and most spectacular dune field stretching over 180 km. Arrive at your ger camp near the dunes and enjoy lunch with a panoramic view of the golden sands blending into distant mountains. In those days, visit a local camel herder family to experience their warm nomadic hospitality. Learn about life in the desert and enjoy a camel ride across the rolling dunes, feeling the rhythm of the Gobi beneath you. Dinner and overnight in ger camp under a starlit desert sky.

DAY 5 | BAYANZAG FLAMING CLIFFS

After breakfast, drive to the legendary Bayanzag Flaming Cliffs, one of the most iconic landscapes of the Gobi Desert. Known for their fiery red-orange hue, the cliffs glow brilliantly at sunrise and sunset a sight that captures the spirit of the desert. This area is world-famous as the site where paleontologist Roy Chapman Andrews discovered the first dinosaur eggs and fossils in the 1920s. Take a gentle hike among the cliffs and canyons, exploring the fossil-rich formations and enjoying panoramic desert views. As evening falls, watch the cliffs come alive with color shifting from gold to deep crimson under the setting sun. Dinner and overnight in ger camp near Bayanzag.

DAY 6 | BAGA GAZRIIN CHULUU (MIDLLE GOBI)

Travel from Баянзаг to Бага газрын чулуу, enjoying the changing landscapes of the Gobi and Middle Gobi along the way. Explore the dramatic granite formations, hike through peaceful valleys, visit historical sites, and experience authentic nomadic culture before continuing to your next destination. Dinner and overnight in ger camp under a starlit desert sky.

DAY 7 | ULAANBAATAR

After breakfast, begin your journey back to Ulaanbaatar by car, driving across the vast, ever-changing landscapes of the Mongolian steppe. Along the way, enjoy the quiet beauty of open plains, grazing herds, and distant mountains shimmering on the horizon. Stop for lunch at a local café or picnic site, taking time to stretch and soak in the serenity of the road. Continue the drive north, watching how the wild emptiness gradually gives way to signs of the city. Arrive in Ulaanbaatar by late afternoon or evening and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy a relaxing evening perhaps a warm shower, a good meal, or one last walk through the lively city streets. Overnight in hotel in Ulaanbaatar.

DAY 8 | OPENING CEREMONY OF NAADAM FESTIVAL

Today, you’ll experience the grandeur and excitement of the Naadam Festival, Mongolia’s most important and beloved national celebration. After breakfast, head to the Central Stadium to witness the spectacular opening ceremony, where dancers, athletes, and horsemen parade in dazzling traditional costumes. The ceremony begins with the arrival of the Nine White Banners, symbols of Mongolia’s ancient statehood, followed by stirring performances that blend history, pride, and artistry. After the ceremony, enjoy the first events of the “Three Manly Games”  wrestling, archery, and horse racing  each reflecting the nomadic heritage and warrior spirit of Mongolia. The atmosphere is filled with music, color, and joyful celebration as locals gather to cheer on their champions. DAY 9 | HORSE RACING FIELD / NAADAM FESTIVAL

After breakfast, drive outside Ulaanbaatar to the Naadam horse racing field, where the vast steppe becomes alive with excitement and celebration. Here, you’ll witness one of Mongolia’s most thrilling traditions long-distance horse racing, a true test of endurance for both rider and horse. Unlike anywhere else in the world, the riders are often children as young as 6 or 7, guiding their powerful horses across distances of up to 30 km. The air fills with cheers as hundreds of horses thunder toward the finish line, their manes streaming like ribbons in the wind. Spend time among the local spectators, soaking in the energy, music, and colorful costumes that make Naadam such a joyful cultural experience. Taste traditional festival snacks and share the moment with nomads who have come from near and far to honor their heritage.  In the afternoon, return to Ulaanbaatar, filled with the thrill of Mongolia’s most spirited celebration. DAY 10 | TERELJ NATIONAL PARK

After a breakfast we will drive to Terelj National Park, a stunning area of granite cliffs, alpine meadows, and winding rivers. Visit the iconic Turtle Rock and the peaceful Ariyabal Meditation Temple, where you can enjoy short hikes or optional horseback riding. Dinner and overnight in a ger camp in Terelj National Park.

DAY 11 | DEPARTURE
