Meet your guide in the morning drive west to Khustain Nuruu National Park (approx. 2 hours). Upon arrival, visit the visitor center to learn about the park’s wildlife and conservation efforts. Continue into the park to spot the wild Takhi (Przewalski’s) horses, along with red deer, marmots, and various bird species. Dinner and overnight at a ger camp near Khustain Nuruu National Park.
After breakfast, depart Khustain and travel east toward Terelj National Park. Arrive at Terelj National Park in the afternoon. Visit Turtle Rock and Aryabal Meditation Temple or enjoy light hiking or optional horseback riding in the valley. Dinner and overnight in a ger camp inside Terelj National Park.
Enjoy breakfast in the peaceful surroundings of Terelj. Visit o the Genghis Khan Equestrian Statue Complex, the world’s largest equestrian monument, standing proudly over the steppe. Explore the museum and climb up to the viewing deck on the horse’s head for panoramic views. Transfer to your hotel or the airport in the late afternoon.
