DAY 1 | ULAANBAATAR CITY

Arrive in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia’s capital city, where your local guide warmly greets you at the airport. Transfer to your hotel and settle in.
Depending on your arrival time, you may explore nearby streets, enjoy a relaxing café, or take an optional city stroll with your guide to get your first impressions of Mongolia’s blend of modern and traditional life.
Overnight in Ulaanbaatar.

DAY 2 | SOUTH GOBI (Bayanzag-Flaming Cliffs)

Take a morning flight to Dalanzadgad, the gateway to the Gobi Desert.
Drive to Bayanzag (Flaming Cliffs), renowned for its red sandstone formations and the discovery of dinosaur fossils.Explore the cliffs, walk among the ancient sand formations, and watch the desert glow at sunset.

DAY 3 | KHONGOR SAND DUNES

After breakfast, drive to the majestic Khongor Sand Dunes, some of the largest in Mongolia.
Visit a local camel herder family, learn about desert life, and enjoy a camel ride across the golden sands. In the late afternoon, climb the dunes for a breathtaking sunset and listen to the dunes’ famous “singing” as the wind passes over the peaks.

DAY 4 | YOL VALLEY (EAGLE VALLEY)

Drive to Yol Valley (Eagle Valley), part of the Gobi Gurvan Saikhan National Park.
Take a scenic hike through the narrow canyon, surrounded by towering cliffs, streams, and pine trees. Spot wildlife such as lammergeier vultures, ibex, and argali sheep while enjoying the dramatic contrast between the lush valley and the surrounding desert.

DAY 5 | ULAANBAATAR (TERELJ NATIONAL PARK)

Return to Dalanzadgad Airport for your flight back to Ulaanbaatar.
Drive from the city to Terelj National Park, a stunning area of granite cliffs, alpine meadows, and winding rivers. Visit the iconic Turtle Rock and the peaceful Ariyabal Meditation Temple, where you can enjoy short hikes or optional horseback riding.

DAY 6 | ULAANBAATAR

After breakfast, drive to the iconic Chingis Khaan Equestrian Statue Complex, a 40-meter-tall stainless-steel monument honoring Mongolia’s legendary founder. Visit the museum, learn about Mongolia’s nomadic warriors, and take the elevator to the viewing deck inside the horse’s head for incredible steppe views. Return to Ulaanbaatar and enjoy a half-day city tour. In the evening, enjoy free time or attend a traditional Mongolian folk concert (optional).
Overnight in Ulaanbaatar.

DAY 7 | DEPARTURE

Transfer to the airport for your flight home. Your guide will assist with check-in and farewell arrangements.
